How users consent to DrawScale verification texts

This public page documents the exact consent experience used inside the authenticated DrawScale application. It does not collect phone numbers and cannot enroll a user by itself.

Authenticated opt-in flow

Enrollment is available to an authenticated user from the account-security settings in the DrawScale app. The SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default.

  1. 1The user signs in to their own DrawScale account.
  2. 2In Settings, the user opens the multi-factor authentication enrollment card.
  3. 3The user enters their own mobile number and actively checks the SMS consent box shown below.
  4. 4Only after that consent does the user select “Text me a verification code.”

Program

One-time account verification and sign-in security codes only.

Frequency

Messages are sent only when a user requests a code; frequency varies.

Choice

Consent is optional, unchecked by default, and not a condition of purchase.
